-B.A. Sociology, Texas A&M University
-M.Div at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (in progress)

Vision for Church Planting/Future ministry: We're looking to plant a church in Philadelphia with Mark & Elise Chripczuk, where I'd like to be an elder involved in preaching/teaching and counseling.

What brought you to Sojourn?: Bethan and I moved here from Texas so I could attend Southern. We visited Sojourn the second weekend we were here and never looked elsewhere. We immediately loved the liturgy, expositional preaching, the gospel classes, and Sojourn's goal of faithfully engaging Louisville with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We continue to be shaped by the body of Sojourn in ways for which we are humbled and thankful to God.

Favorite movie/ TV show: T.V. Show - The Office; Movie - Shawshank Redemption or the “Bourne” Series

Favorite music/ band: Explosions in the Sky or Iron & Wine

Favorite book other than the Bible: There are several to be sure, but I'll choose two: 1) Institutes of the Christian Religion - John Calvin; 2) Let the Nations Be Glad - John Piper

Hobbies/interests: I dig basketball and tennis. Other than sports, I love photography, reading and writing, and talking with my wife.
