Frequently Asked Questions
In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, please stay home if you exhibit any of the following symptoms:
- you have an elevated temperature (100.5 degrees Fahrenheit or above)
- you exhibit signs of illness (coughing, shortness of breath, sneezing)
- you have had close contact with a person who has symptoms like dry cough, chest tightness, and/or fever.
How will we be practicing social distancing?
To ensure social distancing and not exceed our max capacity we have capped our capacity in our auditorium. When you arrive, ushers will assist you in finding an area to sit. You will be asked to leave space in between you and another family.
Do I need to wear a mask?
Mask are now optional at all Sojourn East events. In consideration of those who may still need to wear masks, we are making the Chapel a masks-only space for all who watch service there.
Will we share communion?
As a safety precaution, there will be pre-packaged communion available at the entrance.
Will we sing?
Yes! We look forward to worshipping together!
Will the service be online?
Yes! We will be live streaming the service from our Facebook page and our YouTube channel at 9am so you can worship at the same time as those attending in person. Afterwards, the recording of the service will be posted on our YouTube channel
and Facebook page
as usual for you to view at anytime.
Will there be childcare?
Sojourn Kids is open! Visit sojournchurch.com/east/kidsrelaunch
for more details. We will continue to have Sojourn Kids activity sheets available for anyone sitting in the service. The Cry Room will be designated for nursing moms and if you need to use the changing station. A Wiggle and Giggle room will be located in the back of the auditorium for parents to take children when needed.
