We will be celebrating baptisms on Easter Sunday!
Baptism is both a declaration and a display of our restored relationship with God. When you are baptized, you are declaring to God’s people that your faith is in Jesus and you are a member of God’s family. When believers are lowered, into the water it is a picture of going down into the grave-we are symbolically identifying ourselves with the death of Jesus. Like Jesus, we don’t stay in the grave. Coming up out of the water is a picture of being resurrected from the dead to live an entirely new kind of life. A key part of this new life is our new family, the church.
Are you interested in being baptized?
Join us on March 14th for an informational meeting.
This meeting will take place after both services in the room directly behind the auditorium.
Parents, has your child expressed interest in baptism? Please attend this meeting with your child and we'll have resources available for you to work through together.
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know you are coming!
